Campus Life started at Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center just a little over 2 years ago under the direction of Bill Koch in the fall of 2008. After much prayer and planning Campus Life kicked off in the gym at the BUGC. We started with 4 students the first night. Melina Lambert who is one of the student middle school leaders decided to help Bill Koch get the ministry off the ground by inviting her school friends. At the end of the first full school year Campus Life finished strong at BUGC with 35 students who attended on a regular basis. We were also able to take 6 students to middle school camp in Seymour, Indiana in the summer of 2009. This year 2010-2011 has also been an incredible year with over 50 regular attending students. We also added a number of college and high school volunteers this year which has been a huge help. Our last Campus Life club will end with a bowling party at Gala Lanes on Thursday, May 5th. We look forward to see what God has in store for our ministry next year and ask that you continue to pray for us as we seek to change BUGC one student at a time.
